Minimum qualifications to apply

You can apply if you hold any one of the following qualifications:

• Masters in Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 3 years of counselling experience, or a minimum of 750 hours of supervised counselling practice
• Basic Skills in Counselling (BSIC) from Parivarthan, affiliated to BACP, with a minimum of 3 years of counselling experience or 750 hours of supervised practice
• Masters in Family and Marriage Therapy (MFT) from a recognised university with a minimum of 250 hours of supervised counselling practice with couples or families
• PhD in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy, with or without experience

Practice requirements

• For face-to-face sessions: You must have your own place of practice — a private home office, clinic or rented space anywhere in India
• For telephone or online sessions: No physical practice space is required. You will need a quiet, private space and a reliable internet or phone connection
