Town-hall awareness sessions for employees
The POSH Act, 2013 requires that all employees be sensitised to what constitutes harassment and how to contribute to a culture of respect. This session helps employees recognise specific behaviours that may amount to harassment — even when no harm was intended. A comment meant as a joke can still constitute harassment under the law.
Objectives of this session
- Define sexual harassment and clarify behaviours that constitute it
- Understand the POSH Act, 2013
- Know the company policy on preventing sexual harassment
- Practice behaviours that build a culture of respect
- Understand the process for filing a complaint
