Counselling helped me build confidence

Counselling has helped me in a lot of ways. In the process of therapy sessions, I was able to realize that I have had many hurtful experiences and one by one I was able to deal with it. The counsellor helped me to realize my personality, temperament and also the strengths and weaknesses in me. Before going through counselling, I never used to pay attention to people but after that I have started to intentionally improve listening skills by paying undivided attention to people. I was able to build my confidence. My self esteem level has been increased immensely. Before undergoing counselling, I was very poor in interpersonal communication but then I began to closely observe people and I’m able to accept people with different personalities and temperaments and able to associate and build relationships with them.
